Metropolitan poster

You’ll really enjoy this unique noir take on one of Hermosa Beach’s most distinctive architectural features, the former theater building on Hermosa Avenue. Many remember it as the Bijou Theater, others as the Cove Theater (and it’s endless run of midnight “Rocky Horror Picture Show” screenings), but this depiction goes all the way back to its roots as the Metropolitan Theatre at the time it opened in 1923. It’s a fantastic local treasure, and this original print of a painting by Garrison Frost captures its vibe beautifully.

This run of posters is limited to 100, and each is signed and numbered by the artist Garrison Frost. Each piece is printed on a luscious stiff poster stock that is gracious to the touch. Each piece is 20” by 20” and would look great in a frame or just pinned to the wall.
